Registering for Submissions

In order to make a submission to a competition you need an account. If you already have a Visual Pursuits account, you do not need another one, just login to this website with your existing account. The same Visual Pursuits account is used for all Visual Pursuits websites. If you do not have have an account, you can create one with the buttons below. You will be requesting a "competing membership" in this organization. Membership will be automatically approved so you can make a submission.

If you have a website, please provide that information after your have registered your account. Use the menu "My Account", "My Account Settings".  

Submission Requirements

Accepted artwork must be delivered to the gallery with hanging wire attached. Artwork must be at least 10” wide. No sawtooth hangers can be used since they will not work with our hanging system. No work larger than 36” in length or width including frame will be accepted.

Each piece of art must include a label on its back with:

  • Artist Name
  • Artwork Title
  • Location where painted
  • Medium
  • Artwork Size
  • Price
  • How to contact you for sales (email and/or phone number)

When you make your submission you will need to provide the width and height of your artwork and its framed size. If your artwork is not for sale, leave the price as zero. You can include an optional description or location of your artwork.

The exhibition will create tags with this same information to display next to your artwork. The tag will include your website address (if any). If your artwork is for sale, the tag will include your email address, but not your phone number.

Digital Submission

Artwork will be selected from digital submissions. You will use this website to upload a digital images of your artwork without any framing. Submit high quality jpegs with a minimum of 1920 pixels on the longest side.

When you make your submissions you will be asked to identify medium, artwork size, and framed size.  You can optionally provide a price and description for your artwork.

Payments

When you attempt to make a submission for the first time, you will be presented with a button for making your $15 entry fee payment. Note that this payment will be made to Susan Grabowski, the sponsor and manager of this event. Your payment may be made with PayPal or any major credit card. You are not required to have a PayPal account. After your payment is accepted on the PayPal website you will be returned to this website so you can add artwork into this exhibition.

If you get an error from PayPal when it tries to return back to this website, you can ignore the error and simply navigate back to this page. You payment should be complete and you will be able to enter your artwork.

If you do not have a Login Name, use the button below to create an account and request membership in this organization. If you already have a Visual Pursuits account for any other organization, login with your account and use the menu "My Account", "Organizations" to request membership in this organization. That page will also provide links to other organizations.

If you are judging competitions or registering for a public event, you do not need to request membership. If you have an existing account with any organization using the Visual Pursuits service, login to this website with that account. If you do not have an account and do not need membership, use the button below to create a Guest account.
